This is an AC cable is for a lift chair or power recline chair power supply transformer. The lift chair or power recline chair has two cables. There is one cable that goes from the transformer to the wall (that is this cord). There is another cord, known as the DC cord, that goes from the transformer to the motor. 

If you chair does not have a built in power supply you will need this cord. This cord goes on power supplies for the following manufacturers; Okin, Golden Technologies, Pride Mobility, Med-Lift, Limoss, Catnapper, Walgreens, Walmart, Sears, Pride, etc...
